He holds a BA in Drama and Theatre Studies and an MA in Theatre Directing from Royal Holloway as well as an MA in Dramatic Writing from University of the Arts London. Dan has worked in schools in the top 1 percent nationally and recently in schools noted for their development and above national averages in Progress 8. Philip trained as a Secondary Science Teacher at Edge Hill University after having spent 7 years working at Runshaw College as a technician and gaining experience in lecturing Electronics in evening school classes. After qualification in1996, he worked for almost 12 years in a primary school teaching a mixed Years 4/5 class. He then began working as a supply teacher for Lancashire Teaching. From September 2006, he worked in Secondary Pupil Referral Units until retirement in August 2017. Since then, Philip has worked for almost 2 years at Pearson VUE, a provider of computer-based tests. He has also worked informally on an independent school start-up from August 2020 until November 2020. Recently, he has tutored on a 1-1 basis on behalf of Connex Education. Christopher holds Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status and a degree in English Literature, qualifications in English Subject Specialism, a Certificate in Education and supportive qualifications in Literacy, Numeracy and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). His career experience within the field of English teaching has been extensive and includes teaching Key Stages 3 and 4 up to GCSE in English and Mathematics, teaching vocational subjects in Further Education, as well as developing the skills and working mechanisms in terms of coping with challenges in the classroom. Paul obtained his PGCE from Homerton, Cambridge. He achieved QTS in the UK prior to travelling around the world for the past 20 years and teaching. He has had full teaching registration in four countries as well as being a published author of teaching resources in the UK and New Zealand. He has been an International Biology Olympiad (NZ) examination writer and a lecturer at Unitec, Auckland on the Step-Up program for senior Biology for his last two years in NZ, covering both Years 12 and 13 NCEA Biology. Gwen - Music Tutor - Preston

Gwen is a fully qualified teacher with a BA (Hons) in Music , PGCE Secondary, and LTCL (performance diploma - violin). She has over 25 years teaching experience and has also delivered music at key stage 2 (PPA).
