How Payment Works
1. Your Tuition Is Agreed
Once you’re happy with the proposed tutor, we’ll agree the intended lesson arrangements and confirm the applicable hourly rate.
2. Your First Lesson Is Secured
You’ll make an initial payment securely to West Lancs Tutors. Once payment is received, we’ll confirm to the tutor that the first lesson is authorised to proceed. Subsequent weekly payments are normally collected automatically, via Stripe, two days before each scheduled lesson.
3. We Manage the Administration
West Lancs Tutors manages family payments, pays the tutor separately and remains your central point of contact throughout the tuition arrangement.

Cancellation Summary
Plans Changed?
If you notify us by 9:00am on the day of the lesson, the payment will normally be held as credit towards a future session. Cancellations after 9:00am and missed lessons are normally charged.
One genuine emergency waiver is available per child, per school term. Full details are set out in our Cancellation Policy.
