Lilian has been teaching for 25 years , having completed an English degree at the University of Manchester, followed by a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in primary education. Emma has an Early Years degree and completed her Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in 2013 at the University of Cumbria. She then relocated to Ormskirk and carried out supply in various schools teaching from Reception to Year 6. She really enjoyed supply as it was a different challenge every day. She has also worked long term in a schools covering the planning, preparation and assessment time (PPA). Emma can tutor all subjects across the primary phase.

Deborah has a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and a masters module in teaching pupils with specific learning difficulties- dyslexia. She is a recently retired primary school teacher and special educational needs coordinator with over 20 years experience of teaching pupils of all abilities within the primary phase, both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. As a qualified Reading Recovery Teacher, she delivered the Reading Recovery programme on a 1 to 1 basis to Year 1 and Year 2 pupils over a period of eight years with huge success and positive outcomes for pupils. Philip trained as a Secondary Science Teacher at Edge Hill University after having spent 7 years working at Runshaw College as a technician and gaining experience in lecturing Electronics in evening school classes. From September 2006, he worked in Secondary Pupil Referral Units until retirement in August 2017. Since then, Philip has worked for almost 2 years at Pearson VUE, a provider of computer-based tests. He has also worked informally on an independent school start-up from August 2020 until November 2020. Recently, he has tutored on a 1-1 basis on behalf of Connex Education. Philip can tutor Mathematics, Science and English at both primary and secondary levels.​

Having gained his B.Ed. (Hons.) in Mathematics with QTS from Westminster College, Oxford, Robin secured his first teaching role in September 1998.
