Chris - Primary & Secondary Maths - Formby

Chris has a Professional Certificate in Education (PcET), Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).  He also has a degree in Mathematics and Education Studies. Chris can tutor Maths and Geography up to GCSE level.

Lilian has been teaching for 25 years , having completed an English degree at the University of Manchester, followed by a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in primary education. She has taught in primary, middle and special schools. Lilian has specialised in teaching English as an additional language (EAL) as well as English for speakers of other languages (ESOL) and has additional qualifications in this area. Currently, she is studying for a DELTA which is the highest level qualification for teaching English language. Lilian can teach upper Key Stage 2 English and EAL.

Ian has a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). He is an experienced primary school teacher having worked for 14 years, in a variety of schools, across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.  He has also acquired Advanced Skills Teacher Status and won the 'Inspirational Teaching Award 2017' in the Wigan and Leigh area. Ian can teach all subjects across the primary phase.​

Natalie - Primary Tutor - St Helens

Natalie has over 16 years of primary teaching experience. She has taught all age groups across the primary school from Nursery to Year 6. She has experience of developing children's phonic skills in Key Stage 1 and has worked with small groups and one to one with Year 6 pupils in preparation for the SATs. She also has experience of working as a marker for the Year 6 SATs. Natalie can teach Mathematics, English and Science, and any other subject in the primary curriculum, to ages 3 to 11.​​​

Maggie - Primary Tutor - Southport

Maggie is a qualified primary teacher, with 28 years experience, who has a wealth of knowledge and experience across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stages 1 and 2. She has a BA, with QTS, in Art and Design which she gained from Edge Hill University. Throughout her career, she has taught children from ages 3 to 10 years so she fully understands the progression and expectations within each year group. Maggie keeps up to date with recent changes to the curriculum, particular schemes of work used and legislation. Currently, she uses Maths - No Problem! which is an excellent scheme that she has access to, as well as Oxford Tree used for spelling and Read Write Inc. She is an enthusiastic, patient teacher who aims to achieve the best outcome for all the children she teaches. She is confident with special educational needs (SEN) children using B Squared as a focus. She can tailor any session to suit the particular needs of the child. Maggie can tutor Mathematics, English, Phonics, Spelling and Reading from Reception to Year 6.​

Kim is a fully qualified teacher, specialising in Special Educational Needs (SEN). She has many years of experience working with SEN students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia etc. Also, English as a Second Language (ESL) students in an SEN setting, and recently tutoring online. Her learning style is fun, interactive and engaging. She enjoys helping all students with any areas where they need support,  whether it is spelling, reading or help with confidence building. Kim can tutor English to children in Key Stages 1 and 2 and ESL students. She also specialises in teaching all subjects to SEN students in Key Stages 1,2 and 3.​​

Joanne has had 25 years of primary teaching experience.
