Helen - Geography Tutor - Lydiate

Helen has over 9 years' teaching experience in a variety of settings. She completed her Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in the secondary sector majoring in Geography which she taught to Key Stage 3, GCSE and A level classes in Watford. When she moved back to the north of England, she retrained to teach in primary schools. She has experience of teaching Year 5 and Year 2 students. More recently, Helen has been overseas in Hong Kong, teaching Key Stage 1 children. She has always done tutoring after work and at weekends, whether it is help with Mathematics, exam practise or teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL). She is extremely patient and likes to make resources based on what the learner needs. Helen can tutor English and Mathematics to Key Stages 1 and 2, Geography at both GCSE and A Level, as well as TEFL.

David - Geography, History, PE & RS Tutor - Southport

David has over 20 years teaching experience in a variety of schools, at all levels and key stages. He has taught in independent secondary and preparatory schools, state secondary schools, international British schools and has also been a governor of two state primary schools. Initially trained in Physical Education, he always ensured that he taught a classroom based subject too, hence the History and Geography. He has also taught other humanities. David has taught and successfully tutored pupils up to and including GCSE and A Level in PE, History and Geography. He is currently working in the heritage industry as part of the education team in a successful museum. David can tutor History, Geography and PE across Key Stages 2, 3, 4 and 5 as well as Religious Studies to Key Stages 2 and 3.

Glenn - Online Tutor - Leamington

Glenn has a wealth of experience of working with children and young people on a 1-to-1 basis, including tutoring remotely online. This has enabled him to accumulate an extensive variety of valuable resources individually adapted for each learner. This includes those with learning disabilities and mental health problems. He can also identify autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and dyslexia. As well as successfully teaching English and Maths, his subjects also include Functional Skills English and Maths and ECDL/ICT, History, Music Theory, Business Studies, Religious Studies, Geography, SATS and 11+. As well as homeschooling, Glenn is also self employed during school holidays, supporting pupils in schools to gain better GCSE grades. His experience also includes Life Coaching. He has also taught English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). He also provides proofreading services on a range of written material, including university dissertations, books and has recently completed editing an autobiography.
